This morning I was interviewed by BBC Radio Norfolk alongside representatives from Norfolk County and Acle Parish.  We visited the new cemetery where over 1000 new hedgerow saplings are thriving thanks to the hard work of local volunteers.

The plants were supplied by the 1 Million Trees for Norfolk project which is building up momentum after the launch is 2019 was interrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic lockdowns.  The hedgerow, once mature will add significantly to the biodiversity in this location and once the cemetery is laid to meadow, will be a spectacular place to visit.

As the local councillor, I'm extremely proud of my community and how they have embraced the opportunity to do something really positive for the environment.
