Tackling International Terrorism on the Internet

I really welcome the news that the Home Secretary Amber Rudd is attending the inaugural meeting of the Global Internet Forum in San Francisco. Amber will meet with international internet giants to urge them to do more about terrorism online.

New funding for schools announced

I am absolutely thrilled to report that the Conservative Government is spending an additional £1.3 billion for schools funding over two years - meaning schools funding will be £2.6 billion higher in 2019-20.

Flooding update

We've had some really heavy rain and thunderstorms in broadland today and there has been some localised flooding, I know I had ankle deep water around my house and was lucky not to get any flooding indoors.

Bids open for Housing Infrastructure Fund

Fantastic news as the Government invites local councils to bid for the £2.3 bn Housing Infrastructure Fund today.

This will mean that housing for ordinary working families can be built faster.  This is all about delivering the right infrastructure in the right place.
