We've had some really heavy rain and thunderstorms in broadland today and there has been some localised flooding, I know I had ankle deep water around my house and was lucky not to get any flooding indoors.

I would like to thank everyone who helped my campaign and voted for me in Norwich South. We increased the conservative vote by 38%, which is an amazing achievement.

In the aftermath of the Westminster and London Bridge attacks and the Manchester bombings I would like to say a few words about the levels of aggression and violence to which we seem to be becoming almost immune in our society.  

A fantastic day campaigning again, joined by Richard Bacon, James Cartlidge and the Leader of Norfolk County Council Cliff Jordan - so great to be supported by such an amazing Norfolk-wide team.

It was great to welcome Sajid Javid - the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government in the constituency again, which just proves how significant Norwich South is to the Prime Minister and her team.

With the Manchester bombing on Monday evening, this past week has been one of the worst weeks in our country in recent history.
